Just drove back to DFW, Texas from my gradeschool home in Minneapolis, MN today. Just over 14 hours with stops... Boom. Anyway, When i got home my blipshift shirts were here, and I got to unpacked some of my favorite childhood memories I brought back with me. I couldn't grab them all so I just fumbled through and picked the first interesting cars I saw. I'm impressed that even in my youth I had the good sense to be into the F40 and the Rally cars. (As you can see those have the most wear on them) Also, not to continue teasing, but It looks like I'll be taking delivery of my new steed on Thursday! Does fangirl anticipation fist shakes

I know that drive quite well. Do you just take I-35 the entire way?

I do. We just moved here, so this was only my second time doing the down and back, and my wife's first. I gotta say, driving the fly-over states, although more beautiful than I expected, is much easier with a co-pilot.

Purple?! I bet that looks awesome. 90's purple was so good.

I'm a little older than you based on your collection, but I still have one left. It was my favorite, and will always stay with me, for my kid. Sorry for the shitty pic, I'm on my iPad and I'm using it's camera.

I go to A&M for school, but I'm from WI, just over the border from MN. This time of year is a great time to drive through KS and OK. You're lucky you get a copilot.

I have the exact Ferrari 575 GT and Lamborghini Murcielago, though much more worn out than these. I don't have any pictures of them on my laptop right now though.

Oh right on. We enjoyed the drive. I love those 75 mph states. Are you near Afton Alps then? That's a decent hill for that area. I've spent many many days there. Welcome to the SEC, btw..... Roll Tide

I used my ipad too. Don't be fooled by the Buggati* and the Mucielago. I picked those up in high school. Hahaha old habits...

Oh cool! Yeah, I need to make it down to Austin some time soon. I know a ton of people that go to/went to UT, and I really want to catch a race at COTA. Are you going for school? My wife might pick up her PhD there, when I get done with my Masters.

I'm not going to lie, I have vintage matchbox cars saved as a search on my Ebay app. I always get suggestions from the app and it gets tempting when i see one i had as a kid. Sad that I have to type vintage to find cars I had.

Good stuff. Good luck with your education. ME is no joke. I started there, made decent grades, but found something else that fulfilled me. Engineering and mechanics is still a labor of love for me, and that's how I like it.
